lost sight 12-30-11; ER Dr. said not to worry, thought aspercream had gotten into eye and problem would resolve in short time; this was on a sat.12-30-11 and on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 Opthomoligst thought maybe plaque broke off or giant cell arteritis - ; patient has RA severe; saw RA Dr. following Wed.. He referred to surgeon who preformed temporal biopsy Fri., - Awaiting the reslts which should be in Monday.
Is this the accepted treatment? Also ultra sound will be done soon.
