Yesterday I ate just about every...

Yesterday I ate just about everything on the Day 1 plan except for the Jell-o and tea.  I just couldn’t go from snacking like a pig to not getting any sugar—I broke down and had 5 dots and a store bought cookie.  Oh—and 2 pieces of Dove Dark chocolate.  I did good on uping my water.  I drank about 70oz of water for the day, not including coffee.  The chicken packets were blan, I picked the recipe because it was low salt, but I think adding some Mrs. Dash seasoning to the food would have greatly improved the flavor and it did take longer to cook than the recipe called for.  I loved the Tequila Shrimp.  The shrimp I used were medium sized I believe the largest size you can buy would be the type to use for that recipe.

Day 2 thoughts, the white fish was blan, again needs more seasoning.  The BBQ ckicken salad was yummy.  The blend of feta and red onions are perfection in my book.  I did spice up the chicken with Chipotle pepper seasoning and Mrs. Salt Spicy mix.  What can I say—I like it hot.  I didn’t get to dessert—had a bowl of strawberries instead.  The Sunset Parfait was great!  I drank close to 80 oz of water today.  Oh—I also had a 100 calorie package of sugar cookies. 

The nice thing about this plan is that each day it does give you some wiggle room to have some added calories since I have not made a day as of yet that is 1500 calories.  So, I haven’t felt bad that I have had to sneak a snack in both days.
