It has been proven that you will be more successful if you try to accomplish one major goal at a time rather than trying to accomplish two or more major goals at the same time. For example, excessive aerobic training has been shown to hinder strength training. Therefore, moderate aerobic training will enhance your main goal of increasing strength. This is the concept behind my basic philosophy:
