WIAW: The Giveaway Version

Posted Dec 18 2013 2:00am

Happy Wednesday!  Today I am featuring snacking that I have blogged about the year for this weeks version of WIAW,  WIEW (What I’ve eaten Wednesday.)  I wanted to get back together with some great companies that I’ve worked with that are all about clean eating and healthy snacking!  I do enjoy creating my own healthy snacks but there isn’t time to do that every week.  It’s important that I have snacks and fuel that keep me going throughout the day!

Peas and Crayons

I’m chatting about two wonderful groups today!

At LÄRABAR®, they believe that the foundation of a sound mind, body and spirit is derived from what you eat. And what you eat is most delicious and satisfying when it’s in a whole, natural state.

LÄRABAR®, über®, Jŏcalat®, and ALT® bars are all Gluten Free. They have no gluten-containing ingredients.  More importantly, LÄRABAR® ingredients are all whole and real!  No weird chemicals or refined sugars!

In the spirit of the season and celebrating Fit Running Mama being around for one year, LÄRABAR® is giving away a case of 16 bars to one reader!

I reached out to the great ladies at Awesome Bar.  I did a review and giveaway of their great bars back in March.  You can read about it here .

Awesome Bars

Since blogging about them in March they have added a 6th flavor!

Apricot Walnut Bar

One lucky winner will win their 6 bar variety pack and I can promise you that these bars are true to their “awesome name.”

Variety Pack 24 Bars

And in the spirit of a tradition WIAW I want to tell you all about a fantastic restaurant that I went to for lunch!   Debbie over at Healthy Running Mom and I checked out a restaurant called Found !  Live in the Chicagoland area?  I highly suggest this one!  It’s in Evanston.  Everything was fantastic and the decor was amazing!  We will be back for sure!!  No pics just time to catch up and eat wonderful food!

Oh and since it was Tuesday, I used my crock pot like I have been doing almost every Tuesday to make this Taco Chili for dinner!  The best part of this was that I didn’t have to brown the turkey before I threw it in the crock pot!

Have a great day everyone and be sure to enter below and go back to my posts from Monday and Tuesday.  Make sure to stop back tomorrow for the big 1!!!
