Im a firm believer in everything in moderation. Sometimes I don’t work out for a few days- and Im ok with it. Sometimes I eat fast food- and Im ok with it.
Even the healthiest people in the world have unhealthy behaviors they just can’t kick. I dont think there is anything wrong with diet coke. It doesn’t have calories, its bubbly so your mouth is occupied, and it satisfies a sweet craving. Even the artifical sweetener isnt a concern of mine- Im convinced Im far more likely to get cancer from many many other things, but I do not drink diet coke in moderation. i drink it constantly.
At any given time, there is a flat of diet coke in my fridge. I easily drink 3-4 cans a day. This isn’t neccessarily my health hang up, its the fact that since I drink so much diet coke, I don’t drink enough water.
Water is boring. It tastes like air. I don’t like crystal lite or other water mix-ins. I just like my diet coke, and I will always choose it over water, even though I know it offers me nothing nutritionally.
What’s your health hang up? What’s the one thing, even you know its not healthy, you have no interest in giving up?
