What I have learned from this past year: Part 2, Personal Journey

Posted Dec 31 2011 3:52pm
Sorry I have been MIA for the past couple of days because I was suffering from food poisoning but I at least wanted to try to finish up my year review before 2011 leave us tonight.

So second up, what I learned about my personal journey
1.  I learned that I am a lot stronger than I thought I was.
2.  I learned that I am mentally stronger and I know if I put my mind into a goal, I can complete it.
3.  I learned how to fight through pain and not give up

( Original Post )
4.  I learned how to beat the scale (not weighing in everyday like I use to) and just concentrate on NSV and how I look in the mirror.

5.  I learned how to put health and fitness into my everyday living.
6.  I learned that it's okay to have down days, like not feeling like working out and trying to make excuses, but not to stay there and keep it moving.
7.  I learned that I can do things that I thought was I could never do (push ups, pull ups, lifting heavy).
8.  I learned that I need people to be supportive of me and my goals (Hubby, daughter, family, friends, MFP buddies, Blog buddies, and etc.).
9.  I learned to not listen to the negative people who will try to distract me from my goals.

And finally...........

10.  I learned that I have been tested many of times, wanted to quit many of times, and question why I am even trying to do this.....but God has blessed me this year with completing my dreams and took me places that I thought I never could reach.  So for that....I am very grateful :)
