Aerobic exercises are any type of exercises that increase heart rate, using large muscles groups - like your legs. Here is a list, taken from Georgia State University Dept. of Kinesiology and Health:
Aerobic Dance, Bicycling, Cross Country Skiing, In-line Skating, Fitness Walking, Jumping Rope, Running , Stair Climbing,Swimming.
