We Want To Change The Game

Posted Jan 28 2013 12:34pm

So you’re looking for fitness resources online?

Awesome!  You have certainly come to the right place.  We have a ton of FREE resources available.  Our goal is to make exercise accessible.  So there is something for everyone.  We are simplifying workouts to deliver better results in less time, with less equipment.  We really do want to help you get fit, but that’s only part of the story.

To provide a little context, the other part of the we I am referring to is my brother Anthony.  The two of us have always been into fitness, but had no plans of making it a career.  That is until our dad passed away from brain cancer.  Coming face-to-face with the uncertainty of life, we promised each other that we do work we loved; as opposed to having some job we dreaded.  Since then we’ve been hustling hard to help people get fit.

You name it and we’ve don’t it.  Personal training, group-ex, strength and conditioning, youth sports, managed a facility, owned a facility, and even created our own fitness programs and certifications– Kettlebell Cardio and Race Day Domination.  We train trainers, license our programs and sell equipment.  We took our programs online and are so grateful for the response we have gotten from around the world.  It’s truly amazing.  And, it has inspired us to take on bigger projects that enable us to interact with more people.

I told you all of that, so I could tell you about our biggest project yet; we are trying to change the game – the fitness game.

Since you are on our fitness site, I am assuming you have seen others.  I hope you realize that we do things a little differently.

For starters, we keep our clothes on.  There seems to be some agreement among online fitness “gurus”  that anyone talking about fitness has to do so half-naked.  I must not have gotten the memo.  Of course, the rationale is that if a trainer looks good with no clothes on, they can make you look good too.  Well, not only is that 100 percent false, it’s annoying.  Honestly, I’m not hating on anyone for looking good naked – props – just don’t act like that’s what makes you an expert.

You’ve got to realize that all these scantily clad professionals are using you.  They’re banking on the fact you are dumb and helpless.  Their business model says that they can take their shirt off, collect your email address, spam your inbox, pitch you their workout program and you will buy it – and you do!  What’s worse, they sell you on affiliate products and supplements.  Then, they cash in when you click on ads they place on their site.

Newsflash – you’re being played.

Most, not all, other sites are trying to build a business that meets their needs; money.  We are trying to offer you programs, products and resources that meet YOUR needs.  And, we let you decide what that’s worth.

Others would have you believe that the path to getting fit is a secret and they are the only ones with the answer.  Their program or system is the right way, or the only way to train.  If you can’t do it or don’t like it, it’s your problem.  We’ll we think that’s bullshit.

We believe fitness is free; making sense of all of the misinformation is hard.  So we want to help you figure out what works for you.  We’ll answer your questions.  We’ll show you the ropes.  Then you can fit it in when it works for you.

While everyone else is trying to build a brand around email marketing, affiliate products and sketchy e-books on a one page sales site, we are trying to build relationships with as many people as possible.  We – Anthony and I – are the brand.  We are real people trying to help other real people figure out what works for them.  We’re not going to lie to you and say we have all the answers – we think bodyweight training and kettlebells are part of the solution.  But, I am confident in saying that we have a wealth of knowledge to share.  And, we will play an active role in helping you find the answers we don’t have.

For the sake of full disclosure, we tried to break into the fitness inner circle.  We tried to be something we’re not, collecting emails and trying to pitch people products hoping that one of the made men of fitness would knight us as the next up and coming somebody.  Truth be told it worked, but it just didn’t feel right.  We were lying to ourselves and lying to you.  We didn’t want to do business like that.  Since we weren’t willing to play someone else’s rules, we decided to make our own.

So here’s our promise to you – there’s a few of them…

We don’t want your email address.  We will never spam you, never make a sales pitch via email, and we will never email you an affiliate link.  We don’t even have email marketing software.  If you want to email us, about absolutely anything, please do.  The only time you will hear from us is when we email you personally in response to your questions.

You won’t find any ads on our site.  No one is going to tell us what to say, sell or push on you.  Don’t worry about being linked to some scam of a website; we won’t allow it.  We write, design and post everything you see on the site.  Let us know if you like what you see or if you don’t so we can fix it to meet your needs.

You pay what you want.  This one is so simple that it confuses people.  All of the programs we offer are technically free.   If you want something it’s yours at no cost.  But, if you think what we have to offer has some value then pick your price.  We put a ton of time into developing, designing and maintaining this site and our programs.  But, that’s no reason to hold them over your head with an outrageous price tag attached.  Download something, pay what you want and have a look at what we have to offer.  If you like what you see you can come back and actually pay for something, tell a friend, like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter.  All we ask is that you do something that says; thanks, I appreciate what you guys are doing.

Well that about sums it up.  Explore the website, download a program, tell a friend or email us sometime.  We would love to hear what you have to say in the comments below.
