Grocery Shopping

You don’t need the a gym to gain strength and burn calories. That is what most of the people around would say. If you want to gain muscle mass fast, I would definitely recommend gym trips for you. However, there are always alternatives that cater to people who don’t workout hardcore but still want to live healthy.

Well, as you continue reading this article, I must tell you honestly that I do not performe those exercises mentioned mainly because, I love going to the gym!

Lets not keep you guys waiting, here are some muscle buiding alternatives for you!

Squeeze and Squat

While brushing your teeth, waiting for water to boil in the kitchen or trying to decide what to wear, you can always do some squats to strengthen your butt and leg muscles. If you find it too easy, try jumping squats or carry something heavy.

Shop and Curl

As you head out to shop for stuffs, you can always do some bicep curls by lifting packages, a bag or even grocery baskets in each arm while you stroll around. Not really effective but definitely better than nothing.

Lunges During TV Commercials

Now let me see, one TV show would last around an hour. Within that hour, there might be a total of 15minutes in TV commercials. Use those time to do your lunges to work your legs!

Push up

I am sure I don’t need to explain on this. You can do push ups anywhere, really anywhere. Either against a wall or on the floor.

As a gym lover, I have to stop here. The top few are just some examples of exercises you can apply to your daily life. I’m sure you can think of many other ways to improvise exercises to your daily life. Enjoy planning your exercises!
