As everyone in the FSL community is aware, I love (most) everything Greek! Their culture, history, country, people and of course the food provides so many things to fall in love with. Have you found that to be true as well?
Have you been dreaming of a trip to Greece lately? Is your heart and passport ready but your wallet is not? Many people have had to alter their summer travel plans this year. Many cite that due to their wallet being lighter (in weight) than they had anticipated they now have to make some sacrifices.
Sometimes things come up in a life and we have to make a few moderate sacrifices to get to where we want/need to be. Sacrifices can be okay especially when we expect they will be short term. Temporary sacrifices/substitutes in lieu of a greater gain cause us to focus on the long-term reward vs. short-term discipline necessary to gain the reward.
While I am not expecting to travel to my beloved Greece this year, I am always on the lookout to indulge in some things Greek while I remain here on American soil. Yes, I can make the sacrifice of forgoing the trip this year but my taste buds deserve some wallet friendly Greek flavors.
If you recall, not long ago, I shared a post on some wonderful Greek yogurt I found. If you missed the post, you can check it our here.
If you want to trick your taste buds into thinking, they have made the trip to Greece; give them the joy of experiencing these Homemade Greek-Style Veggie Burgers. They will appreciate the opportunity to feast on the awesome Greek flavors of these burgers. You’ll like that they are wallet friendly as well.
These Greek-Style Veggie Burgers are wonderful. I enjoyed a couple of them for lunch today and they were delicious. The video recipe is simple to follow and is from the Whole Foods Market - Secret Ingredient Show. Give them a try. Don’t forget to let me know how happy they made your taste buds.
