I tried the Turbo Jam Fat Burner workout this week. I was VERY disappointed.
This is a 30 minute workout that is all 'turbo jams'. Turbo Jams are used during the longer workout DVDs. They are basically intervals of 'intense' cardio. During this workout I think she does 4 of them. First slow so you can learn it and then fast.
I only burned 160 calories. It just did not get my heart rate up at all. Again, just like the other Turbo Jam workout it's mainly choreography that really isn't that hard but might be better if I actually knew it. I really should give it another chance but I hate doing a workout that I'm not sure is going to benefit me. My time is precious and I don't have much of it. I want to know I'm going to get a good workout. I probably will not do this workout again. Live and learn! One of these days I'll find a good workout DVD.
It is easier to workout at home now that I have a step and more weights. I think I'm going to workout at home tomorrow and go for a run. Then I'll be in San Diego and can hopefully run on the beach and get lots of good exercise!
