Training Log : Week 4 - Day 23 & 24 - Rest

Day 23 - Monday
After a rather tiring run yesterday, I decided to take it easy as my ankles & shin are feeling the strain. So, some RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression & Elevation) is in order.

Spent the whole afternoon engrossed in updating my art blog with the latest news & photos of the newly opened Acropolis Museum and the controversies & historical tug-of-war for the artifacts 'taken' from Parthenon, 200 years ago. http://crazeepatches.blogspot.com/2009/06/new-acropolis-museum-athens.html


Day 24 - Tuesday
Was supposed to run again today but plans derailed by a heavy menstrual flow. Feeling a little under the weather. Hope it's not the flu that's been going around.

Work has picked up the pace, so there's less time for research & blogging. However, I had a lovely surprise through email today ... an invitation from Wellsphere to join their community. I was told that this blog & its posts have been evaluated & they would like me to be part of their Health Blogger community - blogging my fitness experiences & journey; sharing tips & advice with passion and consistency.

Thank you Wellsphere for the acknowledgement. I have always hoped that this blog & my other related blogs will help spread positive messages & give motivation where needed.
