Top 5 Tips for exercising during pregnancy

1. Wear loose, comfortable clothes. They should be breathable so that air can pass through to allow you to remain cool.

2. Avoid contact sports or anything that may put you off-balance.

3. Drink lots of water to avoid dehydration.

4. Don't strain yourself. Go at a pace that is comfortable. If you feel as if you cannot carry out a conversation or are gasping for breath, stop and take a break.

5. Always get medical advice before starting out.

These are great tips.   Another fitness tip I'd like to add is how important it is to maintain your core strength and these are some great fun exercises you can do even before you get pregnant.  Just make sure to consult a doctor to see if it's ok to exercise.
