I don't know how heavy you are. 5 kgs in a month (11 pounds) is A LOT of weight to lose in a month. If you are extremely heavy or obese, this might be possible, but if you are just overweight, 11 pounds is too much. If you want the weight to stay  off, aim for 3 pounds a month.

Cut out sugar. This means pop and foods that have sugar added. Remember that about 3500 calories equals one pound. To lose 3 pounds in a month you will need to somehow eliminate 10,500 calories. If you cut 250 calories a day that will equal about 7,000 calories a month. Get rid of the rest by exercising every single day. Okay, maybe take one day off per week.

250 calories is easy to cut. For example, a soda has 100+ calories.  Focus more on cutting sugar than other items.

11 kgs is normally too much to lose in one month. You probably won't keep it off.
