Tight Ass Tuesday - New Year style

Tight Ass Tuesday, Fitness, Health, Fit & Forty For my regular readers you know that Tight Ass Tuesday is my regular day of setting aside time to work my glutes and my legs. This morning was the first Tuesday since the holidays and my first Tight Ass Tuesday (T.A.T.) of the year.

At 4 am I met my regular fitness buddies at the gym and we got ready to start our first tight ass Tuesday of 2009. Today was another wonderful workout. We hit the gym an hour earlier then usual to help beat the rush and we found several stair climbers ready for us to conquer.

After 20 minutes on the stair climber, we found out way to the weight room to start our weight workout. Our workout today consisted of ...

  • Squats 3 sets of 12 reps
  • Side to Side Lunges 3 sets of 12 reps
  • Step Ups 3 sets of 12 reps
  • Hamstring Roll on Ball 3 sets of 12 reps
We finished our workout with a nice half-mile jog and a good post workout smoothie.

Today was a wonderful workout and a great 2009-start to our regular Tuesday routine!
