Last night I definitely started to turn some things around. I did the dishes, filled the Brita, did 3 loads of laundry, had some sushi, and then even made it to the grocery store and got food for the week. It was definitely a productive night. I hit the hay nice and early so getting up this morning at 9:30 to start the day wasn’t bad at all.
Dinner – Edamame, spicy tuna roll, beauty and the beast roll….oh so good.
Groceries shopping turned into a date night! Joe and I spent the evening roaming the miles of our local acme. I nearly got some of this cookie dough…and by got I mean took a bite out before leaving the store, but I put it back on the shelf and went to get some fresh produce instead.
First on my agenda this was a trip to the gym for that run that I have been putting off. I did 4.5 miles and felt great doing it. It was good to get some blood pumping, and I’m definitely looking forward to tomorrow’s 5K! I feel like I haven’t done a 5K in forever.
After my run I had a fresh homemade lunch of egg salad sandwich and a crisp granny smith apple. Boy do I LOVE having groceries. I’m already planning a veggie loaded dinner for tonight.
I’m off to class then downtown to pick up my bib and t-shirt for the Cupid’s Chase 5K tomorrow! Snow is in the forecast but I hope the running conditions are good!
