the outside of my knee feels pressure after i excert it...say like a quick sprint. right where the joint meets. wierd feeling..

no I dont believe thats what it is...the pain isn't running up the side of my leg or anything either. its very pin-pointed...so yea...its next to the patella, right side on my right leg.  next to the bottom of the patella. where the little divet is...but it seems as though its kind of deep inside. and im not a long distance runner. I was a sprinter in college...i coach highschool football now...when i do quick sprints with the kids at times i feel it in my knee...no pain....just pressure. im only 23. started playing football at the age of 8 and track at 14 and i've never had any problems with my knee...untill now.
