Take your workout with you

Just because you're traveling doesn't mean you should try to fit some kind of exercise in at least once a day. Here are some ways to do it:
1. Check to see if your gym has other locations across the country. Some gyms have special memberships that you can purchase that allows you to use their gyms in other cities and states.
2. Bringing your laptop? Pack (or invest in) some exercise DVDs that you can use during your trip.
3. Take advantage of the fitness center in your hotel, no matter how big or small. Some hotels charge for use of their gyms; if the fee is reasonable, go for it!
4. If you're visiting friends, see if they are members of a gym, and ask them if they're allowed to bring guests along.
5. Instead of taking a care to a nearby destination, even a grocery store or post office, walk the distance....it's good cardio and a great way to see more of the place you're visiting.
