Two of most things is better than one, especially when it helps us with weight loss! Most people want to lose weight but always say they don't have time. Setting aside an hour a day all at once can be tough when you have work, kids, a significant other and general life business getting in the way. If you can't put aside an hour, it doesn't mean you can't workout, you just have to get creative.
One trick I like to use is mini-workouts. Instead of one big workout I split it up into two little workouts! So, maybe first thing in the morning I do a fat burning workout like fasted cardio or circuit training. Then, later in the day I do some weight training or another fat burning workout! I did two workouts in one day but each one only lasted 30 minutes! Mini workouts are a great way to sneak fat burning sessions into your day.
Here is something I bet you didn't know. Every time you exercise your metabolism elevates, meaning you burn more calories (hopefully from fat) at rest. Well, if you workout a second time in that same day your metabolism shoots up much higher! You burn even more calories in the same day with two little workouts then one long session. So, two half hour workouts are better than one, one hour workout! How great is that!
This is why it is so important to have a place to train at home. You can workout when you want without worrying about the commuting time to the gym which is such as waste anyways. Mini workouts are the real key to the busy person's weight loss plan and I highly recommend you implement them in your routine. They can be as short as 15 minutes if you are in a pinch!
pick two exercises and keep going back and forth between the two (great for trouble spots)
So you can see that 15-30 minutes available for a workout is enough time if you want it to. Check out this video below for more great ideas on how to put together a mini workout!
