Shoulder Workout – the non-traditional Approach

What do you think of when someone says “shoulder workout”?  If you’re like most people you probably think of:

  • military presses
  • seated dumbbell presses
  • upright rows
  • lateral raises and front raises
  • heavy shrugs .. both dumbbell and barbell versions

Get your shoulder freak on

Here’s an 8 minute video that shows you some of the shoulder exercises you can do WITHOUT traditional weights.  The guy in the video is 60 years old … it’s his birthday … and is in great shape:

You may have some of this stuff … like ropes and sledgehammer … the rest you can make or substitute.  The point is that you don’t have to go to the gym or own a bunch of traditional weights.  Get busy…use your shoulders to lift, push, pull, turn, swing and throw.  Have fun and break a sweat.
