Hard to answer that one, Ishbel. Definitely more pressure on your new hip in any bounding exercises. I admire your courage and enthusiasm about next steps, but highly recommend getting the ok from your surgeon and a physical therapist before training for a 10K. Better safe than sorry!

I am a 44 year old woman and would like to train for a 10k race this year. I enjoy going to the gym, spinfit and body attack classes. Don't know whether I am doing the right thing and would love to hear professional or learned others advice.
