Set Realistic Fitness Goals to Avoid Frustration

Part of your realistic goal setting needs to include the following: sound nutrition (60%-70% of your fitness success or failure will depend on good eating habits) and an integrated, progressive training program. This training program should be set up to help you FUNCTION EFFICIENTLY based on how you want to live. FUNCTION can be anything from walking to mountain climbing. In other words, an athlete will train differently from someone who just wants to maintain general health.
