Hey everyone! Hope you’ve had a great day :D You’ll never guess who I got to play with today….
LITTLE FRIEND!!!!!!!!

I can’t even tell you how happy I was to find out that little friend has been living in my friend Jeni’s neighbor’s back yard for the past week or so. Jeni called to ask what Little Friend looked like, and as soon as she described her I knew it was the same dog. I’m so thrilled that little friend is alive and well and being taken good care of. All is right in the world right now :D
I’m trying to convince the pilot to let us adopt little friend but we’ve always had a rule in this house to not have more animals than people, and since we have two dogs already, I’m losing the battle :/ I’m hoping these pictures will help my case.

(Those floppy ears stole my heart!!!! SOOOOO CUTE!)
I ate higher-raw than normal today, which is a feat for me since I’ve been so busy with training and teaching. Planning meals when life is hectic can get a little crazy.
I had an Ezekiel with AB and preserves (my least raw meal of the day…but it was delicious)

And stopped at that juie place I like for a large supergreen juice:

I also went to Target for two things I needed and a lot of stuff I didn’t really need (Target is the best at doing that), including a new yoga mat.
Bella tested it out for me and I did 2 20-minute yoga podcasts from that yoga place I like.

I read by the pool for a while and had to go into work for some training appointments.
Lunch was GLORIOUS and consisted of a goat gouda and raw goat cheddar plate:

and a GIANT “Peace in the Middle East” salad beast from The Raw Food Detox Diet

It contained some things that I’m usually not a huge fan of (like cucumber and mint) but it tasted like a tabouli salad minus the grains. Super scrumptious!
I went back to work, did Day 4 of this week's Shape Up plan with Jeni and got a break from working to have the quickest dinner of my life.
Raw pumpkin pie in a bowl (another Natalia Rose recipe)—this is one of my current favorites

Thank you to the Vitamix for blending this into creamy perfection

And an entire bag of steamed organic broccoli with lots of red chili flakes and some sea salt

(Gotta represent the upcoming holiday! Plate courtesy of my cute little nana)
I went back to work for my last appointment, which was a joy as usual because this lady cracks me up. Her funny quote of the night was (after doing 3 sets of jackknives on the stability ball): “ Do you think that after everyone is gone at the end of the night, the stability balls feel like they’ve been violated? I mean, people are rubbing up against them ALL DAY”.
After work, I met up with some friends from the squadron at Texas Roadhouse. The pilot ordered me a skewer of 6 shrimp (with no butter or oil on it, just seasoned) and a glass of red wine. Does he know me or what?? Sorry I didn’t take a picture for you all but I wasn’t feeling like explaining the bloggy to a table full of fighter pilots ;)
Time to crash! I promise to get back to your questions/emails tomorrow <3
