Lauren Brooks The Ultimate Body Scult and Conditioning with Kettlebells is a DVD where she shows you how to perform the exercises and helps you with correct form. This was perfect for me being a beginner and having no clue! I was doing the KB swing before watching her video and then found out I had been doing it all wrong. Ialso like that she has a couple different “follow along” workouts. I really like using the Fat Blast workout when I am in a time cruch. It definitely gets my heart rate up and I get in a good workout in a short period of time. Lauren is having a big Christmas special on her DVD, so go check it out HERE! My favorite exercise on this DVD is the Catch and Squat….its just fun!!(I’ll have to video it for you some day…)
Caroline’s KettleBelleBody has so many workouts laid out for you! I can pick a different one every time or mix and match them up! She also has graphics and descriptions of each exercise and how to do them. (She even picked up one of my exercises to use in her book…the Mountain Climber Push Up ). This morning I did a 20 Minute Blaster workout and instead of just picking 2 exercises, I picked a couple:
2 Arm Swings
1 Arm Swings
Cleans
Swing Snatches
Step Ups
Press Up with Mt Climber
And I only did it for 12 minutes. But it was killer..ended with 2 Arm swings with my 26lb KB. I still need to work on the cleans and swing snatches…too much banging of the arm going on, but I will just keep practicing. Go check out KettlebelleBody by clicking HERE.
