Pick A Winner
You are going to hate me but I'm forcing you to choose right now. Either add muscle or burn fat but whatever you do, pick one and run with it. While it is entirely possible to add muscle while you burn fat, the majority of people just aren't going to benefit from it the way that they think they will.
Your body isn't goood at doing two things at once. When we do aerobics combined with strength training, what happens? We tend to get better at the aerobics and do not so well with the strength training. Our body simply isn't good at it. Adding muscle and burning fat require two different and distinct enviroments in our body. It's possible but you are going to be doing that in the summer time, not now.
Assess your weaknesses, if you can't see your abs at all, diet now. If you have good definition, build some muscle. Pick a winner.
