How did you feel after your superbowl binge? Did you pay attention to how you felt right after? The next morning? In the gym today? Chances are you loaded up on carbs so it should be a great measurement of how your body handles them. I know personally I have gained up to 9 pounds in one day.
I'm not suggesting that anyone be a nerd like me and read all the time but what I am suggesting is that people learn from there mistakes, especially in the gym. If you don't have the body you want, there's a reason why. If you feel like crap after eating pizza, don't eat it.
What's the one thing that the successful people in any field have in common. The best get better. Maybe you gained little water weight and had a great day in the gym today, you can handle carbs. Maybe you were sluggish at work and lost every aspect of muscle, then you my friend don't handle them well.
Pay attention to what's going on, it comes back around.
