My sister says I should workout more. I think she's right. I'd like to add more pizazz to my daily routine, you know, the walk to the bus stop and back isn't really accomplishing much.
Maybe some sort of prison style calisthenics, jumping jacks, push-ups, and sit-ups might do the trick. And the occasional jog once in awhile, who knows.
Anyone have any ideas on how to spice things up? Any advice would be grand.
When I was working with a personal trainer, she had me switch off between lifting weights and calisthenics -- so I'd do 3 sets of 10 bicep reps and then 30 seconds of jumping jacks. 3 sets of 10 tricep reps and then jump rope for a minute, etc. That definitely kept things interesting.
When I have access to sports that's still my favorite way to keep active because you kind of forget that you are even doing exercise.
Do you belong to a gym or are you hoping to get started doing more at home?
