Have you heard about the bread that has been created based on a biblical scripture? The reference scripture is Ezekiel 4:9. “Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.” King James Version
I discovered the bread appropriately named Ezekiel 4:9® a few months ago. After just one slice, I quickly added it to my list of favorites. Ezekiel 4:9® bread is a very healthy and tasty, Organic Sprouted 100% Whole Grain Flourless Bread made by Food for Life.
There are 18 amino acids present in this unique bread - from all vegetable sources - naturally balanced innature. Ezekiel 4:9® Bread is made from freshly sprouted organically grown grains. Since it’s sprouted, it is more nutrient dense than flour-type bread. Yet it is naturally flavorful and bursting with nutrients. Rich in protein, vitamins, minerals and natural fiber with no added fat. Your body will love the extra boost in nutrients.
For those sensitive to the impact of various foods on your blood sugar level, know that sprouted grain bread will not spike your blood sugar because it has a Low Glycemic load.
You will quickly notice the bread tastes good and looks like regular bread. You can make toast and sandwiches just like with regular bread. A friend of mine loves their Organic Flourless Whole Grain English Muffins as well. The full product line includes cereals, pasta, buns, tortillas, cinnamon bread, sesame bread, Gluten Free items, Yeast Free items, and even Genesis 1:29® Organic Sprouted 100% Whole Grain & Seed Bread.
It is important to note that the bread is kept in the freezer and you take out a few slices or a single English muffin when you’re ready to toast it or use it. This will eliminate any waste due to mold that might typically develop on a loaf of bread (that’s been kept out at room temperature). I did not think I could be drawn to refrigerated bread; but I was pleasantly surprised. Because the bread is kept frozen that means I get to heat it through and it tastes fresh every time!
I found the bread in several supermarkets in my local area. Just check the frozen food section where bagels, etc. are found. You will also find in health food stores. Use the convenient store locator on Food for Life to find a store in your area.
Let me know which products you decide to try and how much you like them.
