My first real experience with the WiiFIt

I love the WiiFit as much as I thought I would. And the awesome part, I actually did work up a sweat after 30 minutes of aerobics, strength training and yoga. I felt my thigh muscles burn a bit, and my arms are quite tired now. It doesn't beat the gym obviously, but it is a pretty great workout none the less.
Computers and game systems are getting smarter and smarter, and I had fun "testing" the Wii balance board, and the system surprised me too. Like, when I first turned it on this evening, after using it until about 10:30 last night with my fiance, my personal trainer said to me "I was up late last night," and then went on about how sleep is very important for the body. I thought that was pretty clever.
And while I struggled a bit with pushups (not my favorite exercise, plus it takes a little getting used to on the balance board), I decided to see what would happen if I stopped the exercise all together. And it knew it-my personal trainer kept working out, but started asking me why I stopped. Afterwards, when she gives her little after-workout message, she was like "I know you took a break during that workout," and encouraged me to keep trying and build up my strength.
Running in place is fun, and it gets the heart pumping and helps you work up a sweat. Its funny to see the other Miis (video characters you create to look like yourself) that my fiance and friend created running past me on the track.
So, my goal is to workout for at least 30 minutes on the WiiFit at least 5 days a week, in addition to fast walks on the track and other free, nearby or at-home exercises. I'll let you know how it goes.
According to the Wii, I'm slightly overweight (my BMI is just over 25), so I have a goal of losing 5 pounds in a month, bringing my BMI under 25 to a healthier level.
