I walked 45 minutes downtown to my new favorite place to spin, Body Cycle Studio .
Today's class was taught by Russel, and he had a great spinning style. He may be my favorite spin instructor thus far. His music selection was on point, contemporary and upbeat (I'm not a fan of techno-y music...I like my favorites to spin to). He also was really informative and kept telling us what our RPMs and gears should be at any given time. (The bikes are really advanced...I wrote about them in this previous post .) He even bops around the studio and hops on bikes next to you to encourage you to push harder. For a few of the songs, he brought us into "the cave" and closed the draps so the room was completely dark while listening to songs like Eminem's Not Afraid. I was loving the cave, and it really pumped me up and made me sweat. A+ class in my book.
I had just enough time when I got home from spin (walked home too!) to eat some Wawa breakfast and watch a few minutes of "The Voice." I definitely like this show. The concept is really interesting.
After class that seemed to drag on forever, I am enjoyed another campus lunch (sammy) while sitting outside and taking advantage of the nice weather. Usually I go home for my 1 hour break between class and case-lab, but I am sick of walking. I walked to spin, home from spin, and to campus today. My legs hurt. Haha.
Question of the Day: What is your favorite part of Chex Mix? Mine are the chex...my fingers just gravitate to them.
