Monthly Goals: September Edition

Posted Sep 01 2011 2:45pm
It's September already and now is the time for me to set new goals from this month.  From last month, I only completed two of my goals
-To be 140 by August 31st (Completed this past weekend on 8/27/11)
-Workout at least 6 times a week (With doing my new hybrid schedule, I was able to do this goal)

The ones that I failed big time were to drink 12 cups (8oz) of water a day and to keep my sodium levels below 2500mg.  I was a big fail on that one and really have no good excuses why I couldn't keep up with those goals

Also, I had another fail today.....I forgot my lunch.....and since I took my lunch late, I had to run and grab something quick....so Mickey D's was my friend today

(I'm your best friend today)

I got the Crispy Chicken Chipotle BBQ Snack Wrap and ate it with a orange.  And some sweet co-workers I have.......they got me some Vanilla Ice Cream from Olive Garden.  They went there for lunch and brought me some dessert back.  They told me that even though they know that I'm watching what I'm eating, they wanted to bring me a semi-healthy dessert back.  So grateful because that was a beautiful ending to my so-so lunch

So I'm making no excuses and putting my foot down and finally going to to complete my goals that I failed from last month (and the sodium goal, I failed that from the month before also)
1st Goal: Keep Sodium Levels to 2500mg a day.  I keep telling myself each month that I can do it but I just can't achieve this by saying "Oh Well" next month.  I am going to try to start cutting some (the keyword is some) processed food and fast food because I know that is the biggest reason why I keep going over each day.

2nd Goal:  Drink 12 (8oz) cups of water a day.  Period!!!!  It's hot here in Texas so this really shouldn't be a reason why not too!

3rd Goal:  Learning to maintain my weight.  Now that I hit my goal weight, I made a range of what I consider a healthy weight for me.  I want to maintain my weight between 135 - 145 lbs.  I don't want to under 135 lbs and I don't want to be over 145 lbs.

Also, did you know it was the first of the month, LOL
