MMA Metabolic Circuit for Fat Loss and Conditioning

To burn fat and get in great shape you have to work damn hard whether it is with kettlebells, weights, body weight or cardio drills, there just are no two ways about it. Steady state cardio is only effective for fat loss when you are first starting out with an exercise regime or if your diet is perfectly spot on. Even then, your body adapts quickly and becomes extremely efficient at not burning fat during the cardio sessions choice.
The key to burning fat, getting really lean and in great condition is to constantly shock the body with brutal conditioning drills such as circuits, sprints or complexes. All of the above are very effective so long as you do not do the same exercises, sets and reps all the time. Use variety to keep the body from adapting and becoming efficient at the drill. You want to be calorically in-efficient by choosing movements you are not good at. Think about it, whenever you do something new, it is always harder than something you are used to. That is exactly our strategy here.
I like to make up a fat burning workout in my head as I am doing my mobility and warm-up drills. I usually have no idea if it will be too hard or not, but I try it anyways because I can always adapt it as I go. This makes my workouts fun and different every time!
Below is a great example of a fat burning and conditioning workout to really put stress on your body and force it to adapt. Don't worry if you don't the equipment or conditioning to attempt this circuit, just use it as an example and inspiration for your own crazy fat burning workouts!
