Make Your Own Exercise Encyclopedia!

Posted by Tamar F.

Do as I have been doing since age 13 - make your own exercise encyclopedia! All the major magazines have exercise articles every month. Sometimes, they are written by leading experts, others are models? suggestions? I have clipped them all! I organize them according to body parts. So, I have articles on how to get Cindy Crawford's back or Jennifer Lopez? tush? so, whenever or wherever I find a problem spot, I consult my encyclopedia! I tend to cut out articles that don't need equipment, because I usually don't own it and a lot of exercise gadgets are too trendy. I have gathered quite a collection in several ring binders. Plus, I love getting the different points of view and suggestions from my various experts!

Granted, you'd have to get in touch with every magazine that ever published the article and get permission, but this sounds like an incredible resource. No way you've been doing it since you were thirteen. That's something that belongs in a museum - and I bet if you flip through, you'll notice how the standard of beauty has changed over the years. Isn't it interesting how our tastes get manipulated by the media?
Seriously, that is amazing. You must be really fitness conscious. Moreover, it is so creative. I would never have thought about storing information like this. I would love to know - how did the idea strike you? And yes, you can probably put the information to good use online.
