You have all kinds of friends. Friends to lunch with, watch movies with, ones you attend church with, and work with. Why not make a fitness friend. For years my next door neighbor and I met at 6 a.m. every weekday morning and walked for 3 miles. If the weather didn't permit we worked out to exercise videos. It's a lot easier to roll out of bed if you know someone will be either waiting for you or knocking on your door. If you go to the gym regularly, make a friend there. It will help give you that little extra boost if you're thinking of skipping your work out. Do you have a fitness friend?
i actually have a couple of friends that i regularly go to the gym with (i go with one friend on the weekends usually.. and with the other, on weekdays)
they provide GREAT motivation to workout and push myself further... there are sometimes days when i really don't feel like working out... and i'll get a phone call from one of them saying that their waiting for me at the gym (i really can't think of a better motivator than that :)
