I did change the batteries in my scale but grrr it didn't really affect anything. I don't know why my % of body fat is so high! I decided to buy an Accu Body Fat Caliper to measure my % of body fat. They are supposed to be accurate and I think it's going to be an important tool in my journey to get as fit and healthy as I can be. Has anyone ever used one? It should be here in a couple of days. I can't wait to see what it says!!
I burned 613 calories this morning. 40 minutes of cardio and almost 50 minutes of strength. It was a decent workout. I don't feel that the strength part of the workout was as strengthing as it should have been. They gym I went to this morning was really slacking on their weights. No 15lbs or 17lbs. Grrr..... Must go to the farther gym on Thursday for a good strength workout.
I ate 1,970 calories today. My goal was 1,900 for the day. I was starving! Even tonight after a fairly large dinner and snacking while I was making it (which I did account for in my total calories) I'm hungry! I had my protein after I worked out today and I really thought it would fill me up. Unfortunately I really didn't notice a difference. Maybe it was because of boredom. This was the slowest day ever! But in the end I ate 140g of protein for the day.
I'm a little obsessed with numbers, if you haven't figured that out. I track EVERYTHING. Weight, % fat, BMR, calories, inches around my waist, inches around my hips, duration of my workout, how long I worked out in my heart rate zone, total calories, average heart rate, and really the list could go on and on. I keep track of my calories on TheDailyPlate.com. It is amazing!! Love it! Saves so much time. Everything else I track in a journal. I just know that when I don't do that, it's a free for all. I don't hold myself accountable for anything. I don't know where my over eating stems from. I guess that's another blog for another day.
