One of the workout mantra's that I've recently seen people write was "I've never regretted a workout." I couldn't agree more this this statement. Yesterday, I posted about the awesome deal that Body Cycle Spinning had on livingsocial.com. After checking out the website, I saw that they also had a first ride free voucher. I decided that today after my exam I would go spin it up downtown. I was really hoping I didn't regret my decision since last night I only got about 4 hours of sleep. I took a one hour nap after my exam, and it was incredibly hard to wake up and head all the way downtown. I am really glad that I made myself get up and go because I definitely had an amazing workout and one of the best spinning classes I've ever taken.
Mirrors everywhere...It kept me smiling because I kept catching myself looking haggard.

Screens on spinning bikes! It's the future!
75 minutes of spinning later, I was sweaty, tired, and completely happy to have accomplished a great workout. The spinning bikes had screens that told you your RPMs, the resistance, miles, and calories burned. The resistance on the bikes was was magnetically/electronically controlled which means no turning the know to the right or to the left. It also showed how many miles I biked my final number was 30! That seemed like a lot. It was pretty awesome, and I think I worked really hard because the instructor told us which ranges of RPMs we should be spinning at during any given time (about 90-110 during the course of the class). After spin class, I picked up some Cosi for me and the boy to eat for dinner. Groceries are pretty slim at my apartment. I've been a bit too busy to shop, and I'm also going to be going out of town twice in the next two weeks so I don't want to stock up on foods that will go bad.
Today was a long day, and tomorrow is a long one too. I'm looking forward to getting away for the weekend!!! I'm heading to Orlando this weekend for to spend quality time with family. While we are down there we are going to take part in Disney Princess Weekend by running in the Royal Family 5K! It will be my first race, and I'm super excited! This is going to be the beginning of a hopefully amazing race season!!! PS. I have an awesome giveaway coming up. Check back Thursday for details!!!
