Hello! Happy Tuesday!
I actually DID wake up for my run this morning! Whoo hoo! It totally helped that I knew coffee was waiting for me.. and that I was going to have dessert for b-fast. It was my first time trying the Jocalat bar and I think I'm in love. As a big-time chocoholic (I love it almost as much as PB), I was a little apprehensive about the fruit and chocolate in the bar and if it would be a weird combo. Nope. It was chocolatey decadence. Huge bummer these are no where to be found in V-town. I guess I'll have to go back to Jacksonville when I run out ;)


I went and played with the mic headset and speakers at the gym to make sure they worked for tonight and then ran my favorite 5k trail. I did it in 27:15, which isn't my best time, but I was playing with the heart rate monitor (I felt like it was sliding off of me) and walked a little. I burned 312 calories in 30 minutes and then came home to meet my management group. For snack I had a banana with almond butter and another cup of cafe:

I met with my group to finish our project that's due tonight and came home to make my step mix and work on my finance paper. I am super nervous about step tonight. I think it will go well and everything, but I'm not sure if anyone is going to be there! It was a holiday yesterday so the base gym was closed and they just put the calendar out today for this month's aerobics classes. My step and zumba classes are new to the schedule so I'm not sure if anyone knows about them yet! I'm just really hoping there's a least a handful of people there... it's so much easier to feed off of the energy of a lot of people!!!
For lunch, I had savory oats:

And a peach "sun" and figgie:

I'm off to practice my choreography and write myself a "cheat notecard" (I'm totally not to the point where I can remember all the combos... hopefully I'll get there!), teach (gonna bring 1/2 Pure Protein for snack), then off to class. Whew-y!
I'll be back after escuela for dinner and to catch up on some much needed blog reading :D
