SkyB, Dancing for fitness is my favorite way to stay active and lean! It's the best way that I have found to burn calories and use a variety of muscles without bulking up. Many local gyms these days are adding dance classes because they are growing in popularity. If your gym doesn't offer any, type in your zip code and a style of dance into Google and I assure you that a number of possible classes will appear! Personally, I teach hip hop, which is a style that is often overlooked by people over 25 but I urge you to give it a shot! It's a high energy genre of dance that doesnt require a great deal of previous experience. You will start sweating right away!
