How do you want to feel on Memorial Day?

Posted May 28 2009 12:17am
This was posted on a message board I frequent and I found it to be great inspiration. How do you want to feel?
Yes, I know it is still winter and many of you are surrounded by snow. But Memorial Day (the unofficial start of summer) is exactly 12 weeks from Monday. You could lose between 12 and 24 pounds (1 to 2 pounds per week) and feel like a million dollars before summer starts!

I want you to think about how you would like to feel (forget about how you will look and your achieved weight loss) on Memorial Day. Imagine yourself at a cookout or some fun gathering - How do you want to feel? Do you want to have a ton of energy and be excited about the summer? Will you be excited about being able to be more active than last summer? Will people keep making comments about how great you look and how much energy you have?

This is important because your consistency today and in the coming 3 months is going to lead to you feeling like a rock star on Memorial Day.

Yes, wearing shorts and feeling good about yourself and your weight would be great, but I want you to think about the tremendous benefit that being fit will lead to as far as your energy and how you are going to spend this summer!

You deserve to feel energized and excited this summer, so concentrate on making smart decisions today and taking baby steps towards improving your energy and health. On Memorial Day, you will be proud of your hard work and be excited to have the best summer of your life!
