I am always searching for new and exciting exercise ideas to help you lose weight! Today's exercise tool is the Russian Kettlebell. Kettlebells have been used for centuries in Russia to improve the fitness and toughness of soldiers and farmers. Now they are becoming very popular in North America because they are an extremely effective fat loss tool!

Kettlebell training can be done by men or men, young or old in the privacy of your own home. Workouts typically last between 20-45 minutes and are pretty intense. When doing a kettlebell workout you will start to breath heavy and sweat almost immediately. Don't be surprised if you are extremely tired after a workout. Later that day, expect to be warmer and hungrier than usual as your metabolism will rise dramatically. It is this strong effect on your metabolism that kettlebells so effective for fat loss. You will do a ton of quality metabolic work in a very short period of time! It is a weight lifting workout per say, but it will not make your muscles large and bulky. Kettlebell training will simply lean you out and tone the muscles nicely. This is why I love kettlebells for the weight loss crowd. Lose weight, tone up all within 20 minutes a day 3-4 times per week!

Perform the exercises as a circuit, completing one set for each, one after the other. Rest as needed between sets. If you're new to kettlebell training, complete two circuits. If you're more experienced, do three to five circuits.
