hi im a 19 y.o. girl and i was wondering if cutting out gluten and/or dairy will help me lose the extra fat that wont budge. i'm

Hello!  Cutting out gluten or dairy will not help you lose weight.  A gluten-free diet actually tends to be lower in fiber as you are removing many whole grains from your diet.  The best way to lose weight is to decrease portion sizes and increase physical activity.  I recommend keeping a food log to monitor how many calories you’re actually taking in each day.  Keeping a food diary is a great way to avoid “mindless eating” and increase awareness of how much you are eating and WHY you are eating.  Are you eating because you’re hungry, bored, tired, stressed, angry, etc?  Pay attention to your emotions while eating. You can track emotions on your food diary too! 
I recommend  www.myfitnesspal.com  as a free tool to track dietary intake.  You enter your height, weight, gender, activity level, goals and it provides you with estimated calorie and protein needs.  If you have a smart phone, you can even download the MyFitnessPal app and scan barcodes on food labels into the food log.
