HELP! I need ideas for a quick, easy, LIGHT weekday dessert

A lighter version of tiramisu, anyone?

So, I co-lead a weekly Bible study with a few other women, and outside of discussing the Good Book, we, um, like to eat. Thankfully there is always a salad; and dessert for the last couple of weeks has been a tame yogurt and fruit pairing – nothing to loosen a notch of your belt over.

But tomorrow, in addition to the salad, there’s meat ravioli and garlic bread on the menu…Now, I don’t plan on indulging in the garlic bread (I had way too many tortilla chips during Super Bowl Sunday!) and the salad will most likely fill my plate, but for the sake of everyone partaking in the carb-heavy meal, I’d like to keep dessert on the lighter side.

Just not yogurt and fruit.

SO, I looked through a bunch of back issues of Cooking Ligh t and Clean Eating , but didn’t come up with anything. I also flipped through a few of my cook books and found a recipe for raspberry tiramisu that sounded lovely, but way too rich for a weekday meal.

I found this Good Housekeeping recipe for a light tiramisu that calls for low-fat yogurt and a whipped cream cheese instead of heavy cream. It’s a little bit more involved than I would like, but I like it. (Essentially it's yogurt-based once again, but way different.) What do you think?

I’m still not entirely committed to it however.

What would you make on a weekday for a light, healthy dessert? Please let me know! I’ll take your suggestions into consideration.
