Health Tips From China - Part 3

Posted Jul 21 2010 10:24am

And threatening every eye ball you have!

It was unbelievable just how many umbrellas and parasols were being carried around China.

I asked our tour guide, Wha-sup.

Besides keeping people cool and shaded from the extreme sun - it was because in China...

Pale = Pretty

The lighter and whiter you are, the more you are considered beautiful.

Over there they sell whitening creams, not tanning creams.

Holy cow, in China my pasty pecs and Casper-like calves are considered hotter than Robert Pattinson sitting in a sauna, eating a jar of jalapeno peppers!

Hmm, and since we know that tan skin is NOT healthy skin - maybe we shouldn't strive to be so bronzed either?

It only leads to premature aging and increase the risk of skin cancer.

So let's take another lesson from our friends in China...

viva la parasol!
