I love Saturdays.
We woke up around 9 and I made some b-fast: oatmeal for me and waffles for the pilot. I had 1/8 raisins, 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder and 1/2 tbs of pb (I ran out- I'll be at Publix later today to get some more!!).

After breakfast, I wanted to go to the gym to get the cardio part of my workout out of the way- the hubby wants to go back later to do weights. Here's what I did:
Cardio
| Treadmill | 5 minute warm-up at 4.0 with 3.5% incline, 10 minutes of running at 6.0 with 3.5% incline |
| Stairmaster | 15 minutes of speed intervals at level 7 |
| Elliptical | 15 minutes of speed intervals (5 crossramp and 5 resistance) and hill intervals (10 crossramp 12 resistance) |
I really like using different cardio machines to keep my muscles guessing-- this one worked out extremely well today, especially because I was only on each machine for 15 minutes. It made those 45 minutes fly by, and they were boredom-free, which is always a bonus :) I'm excited to go back for weights later... I also have to start planning because tomorrow I'm posting total-body workout #2 onmy workout page.I've also got to take my picture forKath'soatmeal contest. Hmmmm....
Anyhoo, after the gym I munched on a peanut butter Z-bar (LOVE them) and went swimming with the Pilot. I spent about an hour floating on my raft..and it was oh so glorious.
We came in and had some lunch: pulled pork for the husband and turkey pita for me. Turkey, mustard and spinach on a 100% whole wheat pita. I also had a peach, but when I started to cut into it, I decided to make things a little more exciting and cover it with 1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Delectable.

Well we're off topick some blueberries!!!We're also going to stop at the store to get ingredients for dinner tonight- we decided to do habachi at home. We're going to get a huge griddle and make shrimp, chicken, filet, veggies and fried rice (that part is for the hubby). He also wants me to make some yum-yum sauce (no clue what's in it... I'll be googling that later...). Should be a blasty :)
Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday!!!
