Since starting this journey last winter I've really improved my quality of life. Just now, about 6 months later I've really taken off with healthy eating and running. Previously when Meredith posted about her goals it kicked off my thinking - I should really put down some of these goals in a place where I can check off my list as it happens! Here goes:
Physical Goals:
Be able to do 100 pushups in a row.
Run a 10K.
Run a 15k.
Run a half-marathon .
Hold planks (side and front) for 2 minutes.
Run a marathon.
Maintain a healthy body weight.
Professional Goals:
Go to graduate school and get my masters degree.
Try to move up in the career path that I'm currently on.
Maintain a work/life balance so that I am not too stressed out.
Financial Goals:
Pay off everything except the house within three years.
Save for our retirement.
Save for and travel as much as possible.
Put together six months of emergency living expenses.
Family Goals:
Stay happily married to my husband, forever!
Build a household that is rooted in love for others and self.
Teach my family (and be the example of) about proper eating habits and physical activity.
Those are some pretty lofty goals, but I'm hoping that it gives me a framework for getting all of my life in shape!
