Cardiovascular, or cardio training is a good way to burn the fat. If you are just getting started, here is some basic information to help you out.
What Is it?
Cardio training is any exercise that is able to elevate your heart beat to a range that is 60-85 percent of your maximum heart rate. (The maximum heart rate is the fastest speed at which the heart can go). When you are in the range of 60-85%, you are training in a cardio state.
Types of Cardio workouts.
Some good examples are aerobics, running, sprinting, or even brisk walking. If you are at the gym, then elliptical trainers give cardio workouts. And at home, even the usual stationery bikes will give a cardio workout.
Normally, experts agree on 20-30 minutes of cardio workouts minimum 3 days a week. But for better results, go for a cardio workout for 30-40 minutes, 4 to 5 days a week.
