LAST DAY OF BREAK :-( So sad. Now I have to go back to being a real person with a ton of responsibilities (aka stress and anxiety).
Lunch: Crab cake salad! (Spinach salad with tomatoes, red onions, tortilla crispies, fat free feta, a shrimp and crab cake by Philips, and honey mustard yogurt dressing) Enjoyed with a side of roasted sweet potatoes.
After lunch it was time to sweat!
2 thumbs up for braving the cold and going to the gym!
crazy face!
ready to run!
Joe and I have matching crazy faces. That's why we mesh so well.
I wanted to push it a little further, butttt I was tired and lazy. haha. Why can't running be effortless?
I followed up my mediocre run with 5 minutes on the stair master. It was intense. There is no way I could stay on there for more than 10 minutes. I need to improve my stair master skills a little. Yay for Spring semester! Not because classes start, but the new group fitness schedule comes out! Spinning is my best friend and I wish they had spinning all day every day. I also enjoy the butts and gutts class (it really is intense, but worth it because you are sore for days after). I may even try the new aqua fitness class? Tons of possibilities!
After the gym, I was sweaty and gross, but I swung by the library to get a jump start on my classes. I printed out as many notes as I could, and hold punched them with the library's monster of a 3 hole punch. It seriously is the best thing ever and can punch a hole in like 50 pages effortlessly. Can you tell I'm a nerd yet?
There was basically no one in the library, and I was glad to avoid the rush that is inevitable there once the semester starts. I didn't stay too long though because I know the library and I will be having a whollllee lot of quality time together really soon. Now I am off to get a jump start on some pharmacotherapeutics (say that 5x fast) and completely clean off and organize my desk. I have been avoiding this project all of winter break, but it looks as if my time is up. At least the start of the new semester is like turning over a new leaf! I love fresh starts because there are unlimited possibilities!
Do you guys have a secret love for stationary supplies like me? Not only do I fantasize about owning a monster hole puncher, but I'm the queen to post its, planners, binders, and dividers. This all reminds me I've gotta get my binders from staples and organize for my 6 new classes!
