Now, as a woman who is trying to eat healthy and lose a little weight, I'm conscious of my carbs. I don't think they're all bad, and I definitely have some everyday -- I'm just wise about which ones!
That's why I was so excited to try La Tortilla's new 100 cal. tortilla. First off, it's HUGE, and nutrition-wise, it's wonderful. The traditional white tortilla (it also comes in whole wheat) has just 1.5 g of fat, no sugar, 5 g of protein, and 8 g of dietary fiber -- which is 32% of your recommended daily intake!
The texture of the tortilla is beautiful, and it doesn't even have oil in the recipe--that 1.5 g of fat comes from flaxseed which is added to the recipe, and it gives you 200 mg of ALA Omega 3 fatty acids, which are great for your heart and general health.
I strongly recommend these! (And no, I'm not getting paid to say that...) Pick some up the next time you're craving a burrito. BTW--La Tortilla has 50 calorie tortillas as well.
