Does food effect your mood? You betcha! And here to prove it are a list of the top good mood foods. Try them out, add them to your diet and let me know what you think.


Chocolate: Well this is obvious isn’t it? But besides tasty delicious, the caffeine triggers the release of serontins and endorphins in the body.

Whole Grains: Consider these the fuel for your body and brain. They also keep you feeling alert and help with concentration.

Eggs: Eat your eggs (and the yolks) to help with your memory.

Spinach: This verdant green makes you feel relaxed and happy since it contains so much folic acid.

Oatmeal: No way around it, this yummy grain fills you up and helps to comfort and keep you relaxed.

Avocados: Great news for guacamole enthusiasts! Avocados also release the serontin triggers in your brain and help to make you feel more relaxed.

Milk: Didn’t your grandmother say to drink warm milk before bed? She must have known that the whey protein helps to decrease anxiety and frustration.

Almonds: Full of magnesium that helps the body give the body a kick of energy by turning carbs into energy.

Pineapple: This juicy fruit helps to metabolize carbohydrates. Think of it like the Energizer bunny.

Chilies: The extra heat in these little guys help to raise your heart rate and libido.

Fish: Most omega-3 rich fish help to enhance the nervous system and boost circulation.
