In order to lose weight you need to get healthy! Healthy = energy. Unhealthy = lazy. The first thing you need to give up is your unhealthy habits. I'm not going to lie to you, It will most definitely not be easy, but the pay off is worth it!
If you smoke...quit! No more smoking. No more excuses...you will not gain weight if you quit smoking. Cigarettes are so 80's and they are for the uncool. They not only screw up your whole body chemistry, but they also kill your taste buds ( and ewe... how can you stand the disgusting taste anyway)? Smoking is out...give it up!
Drinking makes it easier to socialize after you have had a few drinks, but being overweight will hinder you, sober or drunk. And habitual drinking equals someone your not. Beer is not your friend it only makes you bloated, and gassy. And alcohol is not any better, It raises the level of hydrochloric acid in your stomach, wrecking havoc on the digestive process.
If you suffer from poor digestion, then your food will not pass through your body properly. only to make matters worse, some alcohol (and non-organic wines) still contains urethane, a cancer-causing chemical. cut down or better yet get rid of both beer and alcohol. Why do you what to jack up your blood-sugar levels knowing it is bad for your body? And please do not lie to yourself, you know your hangover the next day will only lead to eating bad all day.
Trade the alcohol for organic red wine produced without sulfite's. (Sulfite's are additives...used in food and wine...to extend the shelf life and fight bacteria growth. Asthma and allergic reactions can be triggered by sulfite's. Even if wine is organic, that doesn't mean it is produced without sulfite's. Read the label; it should say "No Sulfites Added" or "NSA." Soda your worst enemy...throw it in the garbage! There is nothing in Soda that should be put in to your body. Soda's high levels of phosphorous can increase calcium loss from the body, as can it's sodium and caffeine. That means...bone loss, which may lead to osteoporosis. And the last time I checked, sugar, found in soda by the truckload, does not make you thin or healthy.
Sorry if you drink Diet soda... you still need to quit. That stuff is even worse. Aspartame (an ingredient commonly found in diet sodas and other sugar-free foods) has been blamed for a slew of scary maladies, like arthritis, birth defects, fibromyalgia, Alzheimer's, Lupus, multiple scerosis, and diabetes.
When methyl alcohol, a component of aspartame, enters your body, it turns into formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is toxic and carcinogenic (cancer-causing). Laboratory scientist use formaldehyde as a disinfectant or preservative. They don't drink it...you think. Perhaps you are preserving your fat cells...smile!
The Food and Drug Administrations (FDA) has received more complaints about aspartame than any other ingredient to date. Even more bad news, when aspartame is paired with carbs, it causes your brain to slow down its production of serotonin. A healthy level of serotonin is needed to be happy and well balanced. So drinking soda can make you fat, sick, and unhappy. Are you convinced yet?
You have had to of heard that you should be drinking "eight glasses of water a day"...right? If you are filling up on 16 ounces of Soda, chances are you are not getting your 64 ounces of water a day. Water is vital for keeping your body clean and detoxified. It literally flushes out all the toxins your body stores from your bad diet.
